The 29th Annual, UMADAOP Statewide Conference was held September 12 - 14, 2018 in Columbus, Ohio! The theme, Creating and Sustaining Healthy Communities, gave us an opportunity to look at ways to collectively address the needs of urban communities through the lens of Ubuntu! I Am Because We Are!
The conference brought together leaders in business, education, government and nonprofits who shared best practices and results driven strategies to create greater results in community engagement and service delivery. Ubuntu also describes the universal bond that connects all of us. The conference was made possible through support from the UMADAOP Federation of Ohio and the Ohio Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS).
